Fact's, Truth and the Media
Bruce and I are friends through Source Beat and he is a great guy. We are, however, on the opposite ends of the political spectrum. So I got a chuckle reading his blog entry echoing what all the right wing whackos (yes that's me) have been saying about all the other media for years. Namely they all have a political agenda and they skew their coverage and 'facts' to make their guy look good. I'm sure both sides are held 'equally accountable' though :-)
Anyone who knows me knows that I don't take myself too seriously. Even though Bill and I might disagree in our political beliefs, I have great respect for Bill and I think he's a great guy. And, for the record, I've never called Bill a right wing whacko.
Bill is definitely correct in saying that all politicians have their own agenda and they all skew the facts. I wish that the news media would stick to reporting facts rather than spending so much time on op-ed pieces.
