Game Talk...
Had the great pleasure of being on the MyMac podcast here. Great fun! About 2/3's of the way through the show I come on and pontificate about how much you should buy Dot Game and Riddle Racer :)

Not knowing how to market an iPhone game we are trying having a lite version (iTunes link) of our Riddle Racer game (iTunes) with only 4 puzzles (instead of 40).
It's already had a lot more activity than the paid version so here's hoping it will generate sales. I'll post back here with results.

I'm totally stoked to say that Dot Game is in the top 50 of games and top 100 of all paid apps on the iPhone store!

Software Summit promises to be quite a great time (as always). I will be delivering a couple of iPhone talks (core animation of course, and core location). But there are tons of other great looking talks on web services and such from eBay, Yahoo! and others. It's always a great time. Hope to see you there!

Episode 5 - getting iPhoto photos into the cover flow view is live
Episode 5 is live, sorry for the delay. I've been swamped with iPhone work the last week +.
Episode 6 should be ready RSN, its the final bits where we add cover flow to the iPhoto photos. It looks really nice :)

I have a tech review pass over the chapter on the [REDACTED] chapter and an errata pass as well. That should all be simple stuff. The book also had a title change, now its Core Animation for OSX and iPhone. I'm really excited to be done, and very much looking forward to seeing it @ my local Borders :).
Also the iPhone book is in 'pub review' which means it will be hitting beta RSN, can't wait.

I sadly am ready to part with my original NeXT computer. Its a slab with 8MB of RAM, 500MB disk, printer, original boxes and books. It boots and comes with the NeXT CD's it shipped with. I also have 3.3 CD's and floppies to boot and install OpenStep. All yours for the incredibly low prices of $0.
If you pay shipping from 80424 it's yours.
