Anna, Sophia, Isabel and Jacob now participate in AWANA at a local church. Jacob is now a Cubbie, Isabel a Sparky, and the big girls are both in Truth and Training.

AWANA is a Bible club for elementary aged boys and girls, where they meet weekly to play games, recite their Bible verses and listen to a Bible lesson. They work throughout the week at memorizing verses and get awards as they move through their books. The girls have loved participating in AWANA the past 3+ years since it came to the County.

This is Jacob's first year and we were not sure how he would do, but he loves it! Last week we watched him run the relay race and he did a great job. He enjoys his sisters being there with him and often goes to them for a hug or to share in his excitement. The night he received his vest, he was so excited he went around to anyone that would listen to show them his new vest, bag and book... "Look what I got!"

Bill and I enjoy our weekly date night during AWANA while Andrew and Isaac enjoy some Wii time. They babysit at other times during the week and look forward to AWANA night to receive their payment. It's a good system. All parties are pleased.
