first day of school?
Today is supposed to be our OFFICIAL first day of school. It is OFFICIAL because I determined this would be a good day to start school. It is going similarly to other first day's of school in that it is not the smoothest of days. There are tears. And complaining. But not too much of either. And a few hard workers. The house has a hint of the buzz of a normal school day, mixed with the normal summer day. The sun is calling them outdoors, which is wonderful.
That is a good first day of school.
My prayer for "school" is that I'll be able to juggle the various needs of each of my children, and that everyone will learn joyously this year... about the Lord, life and "school" stuff.
I'm excited about this year as I've spent many hours preparing for this school year. The kids are learning some really fun and interesting topics.
Sounds great. I know you've gone a lot of preparing for it.
