winter preparations
Since winter is fast approaching, we decided to take the beautiful 60F sunny Saturday to get the outside ready for winter. We pulled annuals, put all the bikes and summer toys away, cut back perennials, and packed all the summer only things in the big bins outside to soon be covered by snow. We even cleared out a few of the bigger items via freecycle. It is great to have stuff out of our house.
The big season switch for clothing is in full swing as well. I have completed the boys and my clothes so far. Next the girls and the littles. We already have 1 bag to give to the thrift store and a list of things to buy for the boys. Their pants are continually short, which is a good thing at 12 and 14... that means they are growing!
