happy 4th!
Fourth of July in Breckenridge is a big tourist time. Our little 3500 person town bursts its seams with people gathering for family reunions and others just on vacation. It's a fun time to be here, although there is quite a bit more traffic.
We took the bus into town for the local parade down Main Street. It starts with the bike riders that just finished the Firecracker 50 earlier this morning.
The kids enjoy all the candy the people in the parade throw out at them.
After the parade it was back to the house for burgers and watermelon and relax for a while.
Here is our special 4th of July "dinner" we had... it is actually dessert and popcorn! The kids loved it. It was fresh strawberries, blackberries and raspberries, with real whipped cream, and sponge cake. Yummy!
This week has been extremely busy preparing for the launch of our iPhone apps next week, as well as getting the details of our new company worked out. So, we have been testing, more testing, tweeking our graphics, creating logos, building a website, opening a bank account, getting tax numbers, etc. We are almost ready, but not quite.
