home again
We are home now from our very long, relaxing date and incredible vacation. (Thanks, honey! Thanks, Betty for watching the kids!) We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend a cruise to those who have never been on one. It took me a little while to get over the idea of seeing the ports of call and enjoying the journey. The ports of call are very quick, so you don't get to see too much of the places you go, but we had lots of fun exploring and were able to pack in quite a bit in a short amount of time.
Today was filled with unpacking, laundry, straightening up the house and just enjoying our family. We really missed the kids. The next time we will bring them along. It is so good and important for a strong marriage to have time alone as a couple, but we still missed the kids.

I like that picture too and looks like you and your mom found some nice, new outfits for the trip. :) I bet y'all had a blast, but it's always bittersweet to not have the kids with you. Welcome home.
