my birthday
Today was my birthday and I had a good day. I had a great night sleep last night, which was an incredible blessing. With life being so full the past few weeks, I haven't had the best sleep in the world. I do say, though, that I have had more sleep than Bill.
After church we made omelettes and homemade cinnamon rolls. We put a candle in my cinnamon roll and my family sang "Happy Birthday". We relaxed on the front porch for a while watching the kids play in the green, and then went out to a local hiking spot to feed the chipmunks. The children love feeding the chipmunks, and it was fun to watch them and take pictures. We came home again and enjoyed our rocking chairs on our front porch and a friend came over and invited us over for angel food cake and strawberries. We all went over and visited our friends and just had a wonderful time of fellowship.
What a nice birthday. I had time to relax and I enjoyed my family.
Happy Birthday! I can't believe how much Anna looks like you in the family picture. You have a beautiful family and I'm so glad you had a nice, relaxing time with them on your birthday!
