we got our iPhones!
Friday, we drove to Denver to run errands and get our iPhones. We were successful! It took about 3+ hours total of waiting in lines and getting it set up and paid for. We had quite a few glitches, but we are set.
I went shopping with the girls for my birthday while Bill and the boys waited in line, which was a treat, and made the time fly by for me.
Isaac talked the entire time in line to this woman standing behind him in line. She was a trooper and even said she'd buy a copy of our games!
We celebrated with a dinner out at PF Chang's, and we got the phone call we've been waiting almost 3 weeks for from the potential buyers for our Breck house. We met with them this morning and we are still waiting on the final answer. Tomorrow...
We finished the evening with a much needed trip to Costco, before the 2+ hour drive home. We are all quite tired, but happy to have gotten our errands done.
One of the glitches with the iPhones for us, was that we were 5 days from being able to use my same phone number, but they wouldn't allow us to do it. So, we chose to get another line and give my phone (and number at least for now) to the kids for the house phone. That way we don't have to drive 2 hours again in a few days to get my phone. I'll have to e-mail it out.
We are excited! Now, the NDA just needs to be lifted so Bill's books can be published... still waiting on Apple.
